Elm grove and Missions
Jesus gave our church our "Mission Statement" in Matthew 28:19-20.
Looking to scripture we understand the call for our church to GO, Preach and Teach the world of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, To share the salvation message through means of Tracts, Missionaries and Soul Winning as well as teaching our church family the value of souls.
We strive to reach this world through our church by means such as:
- Immerse Our Lives In The Will of God According To the Word Of God! (Romans 12:1-2)
By this, I mean, to fully dedicate ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ and yield our will to His will in every area of our lives. - Involve Ourselves Fully In Declaring The Gospel Of Jesus Christ To The Lost Throughout The World! (Mark 16:15)
This means beginning where we are at, witnessing to the lost in our neighborhoods, while at the same time doing all we can to reach our nation and the nations of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. - Invest Our Future And Our Finances In The Great Commission! (2 Corinthians 8:5)
First, I determine if it is God's will for me, personally to go to the mission field then secondly, determine how much God would have me to give to support those who are going. - Intensify Our Prayers For God To Raise Up More Missionaries! (Luke 10:2)
Missions begins with God and God's very first instructions concerning the need for missionaries is to pray. Let's pray with all our hearts that God will raise up "laborers" for the great harvest fields of our world.
